Common repairs
Leaks at the seams, the knees and the seat. Zippers that will not close. Gravel guards and booties coming apart. All of it is repairable, and we test the repair before it ships back.
Pants and bibs are the second most common item in the shop after jackets. Knees, seats, cuffs and zippers wear first, and all of them are rebuildable.
Slack shock cord, a cracked section, a split ferrule or a broken hub. Poles are the quickest repair in the shop, and you only need to send the poles.
A tear in a down jacket leaks feathers until it is patched. We patch with down-proof ripstop, refill with recycled 800 fill down and wash the piece so it lofts like new.
Zippers are the repair we do most. Half the time the fix is a new slider; the rest of the time it is a new zipper, set with the same construction the factory used.
Authorized partnerships

We are the authorized repair facility for many companies that make outdoor gear, but always check with the manufacturer before sending us a warranty repair. Some companies require a return authorization number (RA#) that only the manufacturer can issue. If you have one, put it on your repair order. Rainy Pass Repair does not issue RA numbers.
