Laminated shells fail at the cuffs, the hem, the pit zips and the main zipper long before the fabric gives up. We replace sliders and full zippers, patch and seal tears, rebuild worn cuffs and hems, and patch and refill down pieces with 800 fill down.

Questions about Arc'teryx repairs
Can you replace a water-resistant zipper with the same type?
We stock water-resistant coil zippers in common lengths. We do not have access to every branded part, so some replacements use stock zippers; tell us on the order if that matters and we will confirm before starting.
My shell is delaminating. Can it be fixed?
Delamination of the laminate itself usually cannot be repaired. Send photos with an estimate request and we tell you straight. Seam tape that is lifting can often be re-taped.
Is my repair covered under warranty?
We are the authorized repair facility for many companies that make outdoor gear, but always check with the manufacturer before sending us a warranty repair. Some companies require a return authorization number (RA#) that only the manufacturer can issue. If you have one, put it on your repair order. Rainy Pass Repair does not issue RA numbers.
